Freezing Area Capture
Starting with Shottr v1.9, you can enable custom Area Capture mode that freezes the screen. Custom mode also displays vertical and horizontal guidelines that help to align your selection to the content (there are better ways to take a precise screenshot though).
The downside of the custom Area Capture is that it does not switch to the window picker mode when you press Space.
Custom Area Grabber is work-in-progress, if ytou experience any problems please let me know at [email protected].
To enable or disable the custom Area Capture mode, open the browser, enter the command and hit Enter.
shottr://settings/areaCustomGrabber/enable — command to enable
shottr://settings/areaCustomGrabber/disable — command to disable
If you enabled screen freezing, you could also configure the app to always include cursor:
shottr://settings/captureCursor/include — to always include cursor
shottr://settings/captureCursor/exclude — to always exclude cursor
shottr://settings/captureCursor/auto — the best option if you have no strong preference
